In the summer of 2025, I took a cruise to Iceland and was completely unprepared for its breathtaking beauty. From the dramatic landscapes and cascading waterfalls to the endless scenic vistas—and especially the puffins—I was in awe. Armed with my Nikon Z8 and a selection of lenses, I lived out a true photographer’s dream.

Arrival in Seyðisfjörður
Strolling through Seyðisfjörður felt like a serene escape, with its charming streets and artistic vibe. The simple architecture and mirrored houses created a cozy, inviting atmosphere.
Chasing Waterfalls Hike
While in Seyðisfjörður, I hiked through the lush Vestdalur Valley nature reserve, where waterfalls tumbled endlessly from the hillsides. Wild sheep grazed and shy whimbrels tiptoed through the meadows. In places, the iron-rich soil rusts, leaving warm streaks of red and orange against the vibrant landscape.
