I took a break from photography over the summer as I moved from Maine and Boston to Connecticut. It didn’t take long before the urge to take photos returned.
Connecticut is beautiful, however I was struggling to find inspiration for interesting places to go take photos. After reminding myself that there are photo opportunities everywhere, I started a search for parks nearby. Kettletown State Park was close to home, so I ventured out. The park had a lot of damage from a tornado that hit the park a few months prior to my visit. Sad for the park, but great for me, as the downed branches provided unique photo opportunities! Long exposure was the skill I practiced in this shoot. Hope you enjoy!
